Description
Three different installations by Sogetsu Members.

The annual Meeting and Luncheon was held at UMass Waltham Center where members received the guest, Mrs. Kikuko Nishibayashi, wife of the Japanese Consul General.

Three groups of the Sogetsu School presented large-scale floor sculptures, using dried materials and fresh flowers. Within each group, the members worked together to create an arrangement with originality. The main material was different for each group: birch, bamboo, and euonymus. The arrangers and their sculptures are as follows.

Birch: Fumiko Masubuchi, Dora Lee, Mabel Nevins, and Akiko Takashima
Bamboo: Ans Vaatstra, Joanne Caccavale, Miyo Hori, and Seiko Hori
Euonymus: Tomoko Tanaka, Claire Benfatto, and Nancy Stadtlander

The program was followed by a potluck luncheon.
