It was with great excitement that Boston Chapter #17 presented a 3 day floral arrangement exhibition celebrating our 50 year anniversary. The exhibit was a first for us at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden. The indoor greenery along with our arrangements provided a delightful respite from our long New England winter. There were 28 arrangements prepared by members of the Sogetsu, Ohara, Ikenobo, Ichiyo and Saga Goryu schools, with basic arrangements composed by 7 students. There were demonstrations by the Sogetsu, Ikenobo and Ohara schools. The exhibition was well received with over 650 attending, bringing in some new members and much interest to Ikebana flower arranging.
