50th Anniversary Gala Dinner - Boston Chapter
Location: Showa Boston Institute, 420 Pond Street, Boston, MA 02130

Boston Chapter's 50th Anniversary Celebration culminated with a Gala Dinner.
Our host, Dr. Ronald Provo, president of Showa, Boston, welcomed us and gave a brief history of Showa.
Kaye Vosburgh, chapter president, recognized 9 past chapter presidents, presenting a long-stemmed rose to each. All of these women are still active in I.I. Joan Reals, event chairman, was thanked for planning the occasion and for making the table arrangements.
Peter Grilli, president of the Japan Society, Boston, spoke on the Japan Society's role in Boston, especially as a guiding force in Boston's close relationship with Japan. The society is presently involved in the 50th year celebration of Kyoto and Boston as sister cities.
