Demonstration by Muriel Scrivner, the Ikenobo School of Ikebana

Muriel Scrivner, a Senior Professor of the Ikenobo School, who has been active in Ikebana since the 1960s gave a demonstration, making nine arrangements: two freestyle, two shoka shofutai, two shoka shimputai, two rikka shimputai, and a special “Easter Bunny” freestyle.
The finished arrangements were displayed, along with futatsu-jin rikka arrangements made by Ikenobo students at a workshop held the previous day.
Potter Dennis Howard was present with items for sale.

Boston Chapter #17 met at Elm Bank Reservation, Wellesley, Massachusetts on April 17, 2019.
